Broda's Acute Care Chair is uniquely designed for Infection Control. It has a fully upholstered seat, back, legrest, footrest, upper arms, lower arms, and wings with minimized, strategically placed stitching to allow for easy wipe down and thorough cleaning. It's positioning capabilities and features are similar to those of our 785 Tilt Recliner.
The infinite positioning capabilities partnered with the infection control friendly padding make this the ideal multi use chair for multiple patients. It is ideal for nursing homes, hospitals, acute-care wards, emergency wards, day surgery, orthopedics, transitional care, dialysis, hospice care and oncology.
With up to 90º of infinitely adjustable back recline, you can accommodate hyperextension, improve comfort, help relieve pressure on the patient, and can help solve patient problems with slumping and sliding without use of restraints. With up to 27º of infinitely adjustable seat tilt, containment issues and upper body positioning problems become a thing of the past. The tilt in space design allows for infinite positioning in a constant amount of space.
