___________________ is an 84 year old female resident with a primary diagnosis of Essential Hypertension. When not in bed, she is chair confined.

The Broda Model 30VT possesses a documented low interface pressure seating surface. It can be infinitely repositioned, up to 45 degrees of recline and 25 degrees of tilt. The legrest/footrest can be infinitely positioned from vertical to horizontal. The infinite repositioning facilitates improved respiratory function, allowing the lungs to exchange air, improving oxygen/carbon dioxide gas exchange and heart and brain function.

The infinite tilt capability of the Model 30VT provides support for thoratic and abdominal muscles, allowing for pelvic symmetry and optimum spinal aligment. We feel this would lead to less fatigue and assist in socialization.

In a recent trial of the low interface pressure Broda chair, it was analyzed that __________ tolerates this surface much better than that of her geri chair.
