Broda is proud to be celebrating 30 years in 2011!

Broda takes great pride in offering comfortable quality seating that has helped improve the lives of many individuals including their families and caregivers.
Where did it all begin?
Broda was founded in Ontario, Canada in 1981 by David Brotherston. With his background as President of Cambridge Memorial Hospital, Mr. Brotherston quickly identified a need for a high quality seating system built to meet the needs of health care institutions and their residents.
Broda quickly became known for its unique pressure redistribution seating (Comfort Tension Seating™)
and ability to accommodate a wide variety of common and difficult seating challenges.
Broda looks to the future with great anticipation and continues to strive to meet the needs of quality and excellence in seating.
